Performance

I perform regularly in the Holland and Grand Rapids area. You can usually catch me with the band Selkie, or at the Curragh on Sunday afternoons.

I am available for group booking, house concerts, solo pub performances, and weddings (I am also an organist if necessary). Rates vary tremendously depending on what group you want to book, and how long the gig is, so please contact me for more details.

Custom Uilleann Pipes and Whistles

I am now taking orders for uilleann half sets and practice sets, with full sets to come in the next few years. I also make high end timber whistles in concert D.

My pipes are based off of the McKeon Rowsome set, updated with tight fitted tapered ferrules for improved longevity and stability.

All my metalwork is hand rolled and braised the old way, giving me a great deal of flexibility on materials from brass to sterling silver. I am moving towards using North American woods for my pipes to reduce my impact on tropical forests and avoid supply issues. To this end, I prefer to work in hard maple, applewood, or katalox.

I do still offer pipes in exotic hardwoods. Currently I can do ebony (for a significant upcharge), cocobolo, bloodwood, or Ziricote.

Lead times are significant to ensure proper seasoning, starting at 18 months minimum when my order list is empty.
